Speeding causes deadly accident near airport, Las Vegas police report
A fatal accident occurred near Harry Reid airport on Monday night, resulting in one fatality. The incident took place at the intersection of East Hacienda Avenue and University Center Drive around 8:24 p.m., as reported by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The driver of a 2006 Audi TT was speeding west on Hacienda Avenue and collided with a block wall at the University Center intersection without slowing down. Unfortunately, the driver was pronounced dead at the crash site. The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Clark County Coroner’s Office before it is officially classified as a traffic-related fatality. The LVMPD Collision Investigation Section is currently looking into the details of the collision.
