Spate of deadly pedestrian car accidents in a week ravaging our community
Within five days, two additional pedestrians have tragically lost their lives in separate incidents in the valley. The first incident occurred in Summerlin, near Charleston Boulevard and Town Center Drive, when a person was struck and killed by a commercial vehicle as they crossed a private drive. The vehicle then fled the scene. The second incident took place on West Warm Springs Road, where a car veered off the road and fatally struck 23-year-old Joree Odabi, who was simply walking on the sidewalk.
