Southbound I-25 near S. Academy Closed Due to Fatal Crash.
The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) has reported a tragic multi-vehicle crash on I-25, leading to the closure of the southbound lanes between Mesa Ridge Parkway near Fountain Boulevard and South Academy Boulevard on Saturday, June 14, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Detours have been arranged, and CSP has revealed that four vehicles were involved in the accident, resulting in one fatality and another individual being transported to the hospital. A detour has been set up at exit 135 at South Academy. It is advised to seek alternate routes and brace for potential delays. The reopening time for the road is currently unknown.
