Several vehicles were in a car accident on I-80 eastbound near milepost 133, causing temporary lane closures. The Utah Department of Transportation reported that a multi-vehicle crash resulted in lane closures at milepost 133 in Parley's Canyon. Utah Highway Patrol stated that the incident involved five vehicles, and fortunately no serious injuries were reported. Although UDOT initially estimated that the area would be cleared by 6:45 p.m., all lanes were reopened by 6:30 p.m. Travelers should anticipate delays in the vicinity, especially due to Labor Day Weekend traffic.
