
Soldier from Fort Campbell killed in training incident in Germany
The US Army shared news of a tragic incident in which a soldier from the 101st Airborne Division lost his life during a training accident at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center in Hohenfels, Germany. The soldier, identified as Terrell Seales from Florence, New Jersey, was hailed as a dedicated leader and soldier who motivated others to excel. The Commander of the 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team (Strike), 101st Airborne Division, Col. Duke Reim, expressed condolences and assured support for Seales' family. The Army is appreciative of the prompt assistance provided by their German Allies. Seales had joined Fort Campbell in 2024 after serving at Fort Hood, Texas, and Fort Drum, New York, and had completed the Army Basic Leader Course. This incident, which marks Seales' second deployment following a tour to Lithuania in 2023, is currently being investigated.
