Renowned actress and screenwriter Sofia Seirli, known for her contributions to theater, television, and film, tragically passed away at the age of 77 on Sunday due to drowning near the island of Fournoi in the northeastern Aegean. Seirli was on vacation and had been attempting to swim from Kamari Beach to the nearby islet of Agios Minas.
