
Soap spills on Hwy 6 after accident - KWKT
An accident near Marlin on Highway 6 has resulted in one injury and a highway covered in soap and hygiene products. The Marlin Volunteer Fire Department reported an auto-pedestrian accident involving a truck tractor semi-trailer on Saturday morning. Motorists have been advised to take alternate routes as the soapy spill is causing traffic issues. The fire department is collaborating with the Texas Department of Transportation to clean up the roadway. One individual has been airlifted to Baylor Scott & White in Temple by PHI Med 1-5 from Temple. Passenger vehicles are being diverted via County Road 116, while semi trucks are redirected down FM-1240 to FM-147. The Texas Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation into the incident.
