Skydiver fatally injured in collision at Lost Prairie Boogie

Unfortunately, during the annual Lost Prairie Boogie event in Marion, Northwest Montana, a skydiver lost their life and another was injured due to a mid-air collision that occurred just before 9:45 a.m. On-site emergency responders acted promptly, with one skydiver managing to land safely while the other's automatic reserve parachute deployed. Despite efforts to save them, the second skydiver was pronounced dead at the scene, with the other individual receiving on-site medical clearance. The event was hosted by Meadow Peak Skydiving and local authorities are investigating the incident. The Flathead County Sheriff's Office expressed condolences to those affected by the tragedy.
