A 21-year-old man tragically lost his life in a skiing accident at Giants Ridge ski resort over the weekend. The incident prompted a response from the Gilbert police on Saturday when it was reported that a skier had been injured. Despite efforts from the ski patrol staff to safely remove the skier from the hillside and transport him to a nearby hospital, emergency responders were unable to save him.
