Six people hurt in accident on North Columbus’s Interstate 71
Six individuals were sent to various hospitals after an early morning accident on Interstate 71 south in north Columbus. The incident took place just before 5:20 a.m. at Hudson Street. Among the injured, one adult was in critical condition and transported to Grant Medical Center, while another adult was taken to Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center in critical but stable condition. The remaining four victims were transferred to Nationwide Children's Hospital and were reported to be in a stable condition. The southbound lanes of I-71 near Hudson Street were closed for more than an hour as authorities looked into the crash. Columbus police are currently investigating the incident.
