Single individual transported to hospital following three-vehicle collision in Madison County
The Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to a multi-car accident at Perryville and Mohr Roads in the Town of Sullivan. The incident involved three vehicles, with injuries unknown at the time of arrival on Thursday, Oct. 23. A preliminary examination revealed that a 22-year-old named Isaiah Schaub from Sullivan was driving a 2003 Buick Sedan northwest on Perryville Road when he failed to navigate a turn, moving into the southbound lane and colliding with a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado operated by 63-year-old Kevin Sullivan from Hubbardsville. The Buick then overturned and struck a 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan driven by a 17-year-old. Schaub sustained internal injuries and was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition. Sullivan and two other adults in his Silverado were taken to Community Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. The Madison County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the crash and encourages any witnesses to come forward by calling 315-366-2311. Perrville Road was temporarily closed between Dwyer and Osborne Road but has since been reopened.
