Sheriff reports woman killed in Jeep accident in Madison County
In Madison County, a tragic incident occurred on Wednesday where a woman lost her life after being hit by a vehicle. Deputies from the Madison County Sheriff's Department were called to the scene of the accident on South CR150 West in response to a vehicle/pedestrian collision. The woman was declared deceased after being struck by a Jeep driven by a 17-year-old. The accident is currently under investigation by the Madison County Sheriff's Department's accident investigation team. The identity of the woman will be disclosed by the Madison Coroner's Office after notifying her family.
