Shawnee man named in deadly ski mishap in Colorado

The 20-year-old skier collided with a tree on the Lupin trail, prompting the ski patrol to respond quickly. Despite efforts from fellow skiers and the patrol administering CPR, McDonald was pronounced dead upon arrival at the resort's hospital. The local police department mentioned that McDonald was wearing a helmet at the time of the tragic incident and expressed their sympathy to his loved ones.
