Severe injuries for man in Providence motorcycle accident
A man was quickly taken to the hospital following a motorcycle accident in Providence on Sunday afternoon. Police informed 12 News that the incident occurred near Union Avenue and Pocasset Avenue. According to authorities, the man was riding his motorcycle and attempted to pass a vehicle on the left side. The car then made a left turn into a driveway, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles. The man sustained a head injury and was not wearing a helmet, police stated. He is currently in serious condition. The car driver was unharmed. Additionally, a firearm was discovered on the motorcycle, as per police reports.
