
Several cows dead in tractor-trailer crash near Mansfield
In Wright County, Missouri, a tractor-trailer incident on eastbound US Highway 60 east of Mansfield on Friday evening led to the unfortunate loss of multiple cattle, as reported by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G. The crash caused the cattle to escape onto the highway, resulting in several vehicles colliding with the loose animals. A driver from Springfield sustained moderate injuries in a collision with a cow on westbound US 60 before 10:30 p.m. on Friday, according to the MSHP crash report. The driver was transported to Cox South in Springfield for treatment. The Wright County Sheriff's Office noted the temporary closure of both westbound and eastbound US 60 near Lead Hill Drive following the accident.
