
Serious injury in Friendship crash.
The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department responded to a car accident on County Road 950 South in Friendship, Indiana. The incident occurred on a Friday evening at 8:23 p.m. A vehicle traveling eastbound left the road, hit a tree, and then went off the road into a bean field before coming to a stop on the edge of the county road. The driver, who sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to the hospital by Ripley County EMS. A Bobcat operator helped by removing the tree to clear the way for the ambulance. The Ripley County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the accident.
