Serious injuries to baby in fatal Southern California freeway accident

A tragic rollover accident on the westbound 60 Freeway resulted in the deaths of two individuals and caused serious injuries to two others, including an infant, in the early hours of Monday morning. The incident, which was a single-vehicle crash that happened just past 2 a.m. near the Ramona Avenue onramp, was attended to by the Chino Valley Fire District where two people were tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. The wreckage of the vehicle was visibly damaged on the side of the highway, as seen in footage from the scene. Reports from the California Highway Patrol mentioned that an infant was discovered amidst the wreckage. The infant and another passenger were rushed to a nearby trauma center with severe injuries. As a result of the crash, the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway were temporarily shut down. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is currently in progress.
