Serious injuries reported after motorcycle crash on Washington Avenue in North Haven
NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A motorcyclist is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after police said he was involved in a crash on Friday night in North Haven. Washington Avenue was closed between Lincoln Street and Blakeslee Avenue but has since reopened, police said. A male riding the motorcycle sustained life-threatening injuries after crashing, police said. The South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit has been called to assist in the investigation. The motorcycle operator was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police are asking people to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
