Serious injuries in Halifax County ATV accident: Sheriff.
Three individuals were injured in a recent ATV accident at an ATV park in the Hollister area of Halifax County. Two of the victims were airlifted for medical treatment, while the third was transported by ambulance to a hospital. Pictures released by the Halifax County Sheriff's Office showed medical helicopters arriving and departing from the scene, including one from ECU Health and another from Duke Life Flight. The incident occurred just before 7:10 p.m. and prompted an outpouring of support on social media, with over 250 comments expressing prayers and well wishes for those involved.
