Serious injuries in crash incident
Colorado Springs Police Department has reopened Academy Boulevard after a crash involving a motorcycle and car on Tuesday morning. The motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries and the Major Crash Team is investigating. The Colorado Springs Fire Department is currently at the scene of the crash, which has closed a section of Academy Boulevard. The incident occurred at Pace Drive and South Academy Boulevard. Southbound lanes of Academy are closed from Pace Drive to Verde Drive. One person has been transported to the hospital. Motorists are advised to steer clear of the area.
