Serious injuries in collision with pedestrian near Carolina Forest

According to Horry County Fire Rescue, a serious accident occurred involving a pedestrian on Highway 501 near Carolina Forest. The incident took place between W. Perry Road and Legends Road. Emergency crews arrived at the scene at 5:48 a.m. and the road was closed for approximately four hours before being reopened. The South Carolina Highway Patrol, along with Horry County police, are conducting an investigation into the crash. Stay tuned to News13 for further information.
