In Washington County, an incident at an industrial site on Monday resulted in two individuals sustaining serious injuries. The Halfway Volunteer Fire Company reported that a pressurized water tank exploded on Hopewell Road, prompting a response from 75 crewmembers. The two victims were airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries, including significant facial injuries. Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident.
