
Serious injuries caused by high-speed collision on Highway 191
Midland, Texas - The Midland Police Department is currently looking into a high-speed collision that resulted in multiple people being injured on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 8:38 p.m. on April 2, with officers and firefighters from the Midland Fire Department responding to a two-vehicle crash on the eastbound service road in the 12300 block of State Highway 191. The crash involved a Dodge Ram and another unidentified vehicle that were both traveling at a high speed in the same lane. The impact caused the Ram to be pushed through a cable barrier into the main lanes of Highway 191. The driver of the Ram, a 44-year-old male, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital. On the other hand, the driver of the second vehicle, a 24-year-old male, suffered major injuries and was listed in critical condition, while a 23-year-old male passenger in the second vehicle was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
