'Serious' injuries after one-car crash in East Haven
EAST HAVEN — A portion of Bradley Street was shut down Monday following a one-car crash, East Haven police said. Police said the unidentified driver sustained serious injuries in the crash, which occurred after 5 p.m. Memorial Day. Bradley Street between Pondview Terrace and Newton Street remained closed to traffic as of 6:30 p.m. Monday. “We are asking motorists to seek an alternate route, Laurel Street being their best option if they are traveling through the area,” Capt. Joseph M. Murgo said by email Murgo said more information would be made available on the police department’s Facebook page as it becomes available.
