Serious crash on I-495 leaves vehicle on roof in woods
A serious crash on Interstate 495 North is under investigation in Middleborough, Massachusetts, Thursday afternoon. From Sky5, a vehicle could be seen on its roof in the woods next to the roadway. Skid marks were visible in the dirt leading from the asphalt to the trees, and it appeared there was a body under a white sheet next to the roadway. Several state police cruisers, fire trucks and ambulances were at the scene. The entire northbound side of the roadway was closed for a time, MassDOT said. Check your routeThe right lane of the highway was closed, and maps showed traffic backed up to the Route 28 interchange. Motorists should seek alternate routes.This is a developing story.
