Sergeant rejoins Robinson PD after on-duty incident a year later
In an update shared on Wednesday, the Robinson Police Department revealed that Sergeant William Hughes has returned to active duty following his recovery. Sgt. Hughes was injured in a car accident on Bullhide Road in Lorena on May 3, 2024, due to the road collapsing after heavy rainfall. He was flown to Scott and White Hospital for medical attention and has since made a successful recovery.
