Sergeant Niv Dayag, 19, dies in Golan Heights car crash
Sergeant Niv Dayag, a 19-year-old soldier from Ramat HaSharon serving in the 890th Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade, tragically lost his life in a car accident while on operational duty in the Golan Heights, according to the IDF. In the same incident, two soldiers from the 890th Battalion, Paratroopers Brigade, and one from the 474th Brigade, sustained minor injuries. They have been taken to the hospital for further care, and their families have been informed. The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated, with a committee of experts appointed by the Commanders of the Central and Northern Commands to review the details.
