The California Highway Patrol reported that a Tesla driver intentionally collided with Uribe's motorcycle, causing his death. The suspect, Ulysses Jimenez, faces multiple felony charges, including murder, and has pleaded not guilty. Martinez highlighted Uribe's military service and long career at Sempra Energy, where he worked in project management for nearly 27 years.
