Semi-truck accident closes part of westbound I-76 near Denver.

A collision involving a semi-truck and two other vehicles led to the closure of a section of westbound I-76 at Sheridan Boulevard on Monday morning. The Colorado State Patrol reported that troopers responded to the incident around 6:44 a.m. near mile marker 1, resulting in the closure of the road between Sheridan Boulevard and Wadsworth Boulevard. Initial reports suggested that a semi-truck with a trailer had jack-knifed, leading to a chain reaction crash involving two other vehicles. Fortunately, those involved only suffered minor injuries. To avoid any traffic delays, drivers were advised to take an alternate route as vehicles were being redirected off the interstate. The duration of the closure was uncertain at the time.
