Second crash on FM 1010 involves Cleveland ISD school bus

A school bus from Cleveland ISD carrying students was in an accident on FM 1010, the second crash involving a bus on the same road within a week. The incident happened near CR 441, resulting in the bus rolling over. Emergency services, including ambulances and law enforcement, responded to the scene to assist children and parents. Fortunately, no severe injuries were reported, with only minor injuries to 16 individuals, according to Liberty County emergency management. The school district confirmed that all students were safely evacuated and being assessed at a local hospital as a precautionary measure. Parents have been informed, and the district assured a thorough investigation into the incidents would take place. This isn't the first bus incident this week, as another bus carrying students from Cleveland High School and Cleveland Ninth Grade Center was also in a crash on FM 1010 earlier. While thankfully there were no life-threatening injuries, some students were taken to local hospitals for further evaluation. Concerned parents like Manuela Rodriguez Marquez expressed disappointment and planned to protest for improved transportation safety measures.
