Search underway for two boaters after collision in Niagara River.
New York State Police are currently searching for two missing boaters after a recent incident on the Upper Niagara River. Reports indicate that a vessel collided with a concrete structure north of Navy Island at approximately 9:40 p.m. Wednesday. A coordinated effort by various agencies conducted an overnight search, which was temporarily halted at 3 a.m. before resuming on Thursday morning at daybreak. The boat involved in the accident has been recovered by the New York State Police for further examination.
