School bus from Marion County in early morning crash
A Marion County school bus was in a vehicle accident on Monday morning while carrying five students. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Margaret Road in Mannington near the intersection of Whetstone Road, as reported by a Marion County 911 official. Marion County School Superintendent Donna Heston confirmed to 12 News that the students were unhurt. Heston expressed gratitude for the quick response of first responders and local law enforcement and reminded drivers to be cautious, especially during school bus hours. Another vehicle was also involved in the accident, with the cause still under investigation.
