School bus damaged in Butler County crash; students taken home by parents

Over a dozen children were picked up by their parents after a school bus was part of an accident in Butler County on Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews were called to the scene on Plains Church Road in Cranberry Township at 3:15 p.m. where a Seneca Valley School District bus and another vehicle were involved. The driver's side front bumper of the bus was being fixed to ensure it could be driven, and four pine trees were damaged. All students were evaluated and reported to be unharmed by a district spokesperson. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
