The driver of a Sallisaw church bus that collided with an SUV in a deadly wreck last week has died from his injuries, according to police.The driver died Monday, April 28.The crash on April 23 also killed Baylee Coachman, 11.Baylee, a member of The House Church in Sallisaw, was riding the church bus home when it collided with an SUV at the intersection of Iola and Walnut streets.Remembering BayleeThe House Church in Sallisaw is holding funeral services for Baylee on Tuesday, April 29.Her friends have been invited to write final goodbye messages on her casket, and the public is welcome to attend.Her dad, Franklin Coachman, expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support.Baylee is remembered as a child who loved life, the outdoors, and her pets, often lighting up the world around her with her happiness."She brought this light with her everywhere she went," Coachman said.Deadly crashSallisaw Police told 40/29 News the bus driver failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to the fatal crash.The SUV driver was unable to avoid the collision, according to police.Several people in the bus were taken to the hospital.
