Safety of Kanawha County deputy ensured after patrol car hit at scene of accident
A deputy in Kanawha County, West Virginia, is unharmed after their patrol car was hit by a vehicle on Wednesday night near Elkview on I-79 South as they were responding to another accident. The first vehicle was rear-ended, causing it to hit the median and the cruiser, with the deputy inside. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in any of the vehicles involved. The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office is reminding drivers to be cautious and reduce their speed, particularly in rainy conditions.
