
Safety concerns resurface after deadly Four Corners crash
A tragic accident occurred early Tuesday morning near Four Corners, highlighting the dangers of traveling on Highway 191. Karen Cook, a preschool teacher at Quail Hollow near the highway, expressed concern for the safety of her community members following the incident. The crash involved a GMC and a Dodge truck, resulting in two deaths and two injuries. Sergeant Daniel Haydon from the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office emphasized the road's hazards, particularly during winter due to icy conditions and changing road conditions. He urged drivers to avoid speeding and distractions to prevent accidents, especially in the growing Bozeman and Big Sky areas. Cook echoed these concerns, emphasizing the importance of safe driving habits to ensure the well-being of all drivers on Highway 191.
