Rueda and Dettwiler airlifted following intense Moto3 collision

During the sighting lap before the Malaysian Grand Prix, Moto3 riders Jose Antonio Rueda and Noah Dettwiler were airlifted to a hospital near the Sepang Circuit following a serious crash. Rueda collided with Dettwiler as the Swiss rider was moving slowly, likely due to a mechanical issue. Emergency protocols were immediately put in place, with both riders receiving medical attention on the scene. They were subsequently airlifted to a local hospital for further treatment. As a result of the incident, the racing schedule was adjusted: the Moto3 race was rescheduled to start at 1:45pm local time with a shorter duration, while the Moto2 race was moved to begin at 4:30pm following the MotoGP race at 3pm.
