Rudy Giuliani Hurt in New Hampshire Auto Accident, Spokesperson Reports
Three individuals, including former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, were hurt in a car accident in Manchester, New Hampshire, as confirmed by state police. The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. on Saturday when a Honda HR-V collided with a Ford Bronco, causing both vehicles to veer into the median on Interstate 93's southbound lanes. The Honda's driver, Lauren Kemp, 19, from Concord, and the Bronco's driver, Theodore Goodman from Michigan, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals. Giuliani, who was a passenger in the Bronco, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Giuliani's security chief, Michael Ragusa, revealed that the accident occurred when Giuliani halted to assist a woman who was a victim of domestic violence and contacted 911. Although Giuliani endured a fractured vertebra and various injuries, his son Andrew Giuliani expressed gratitude for the messages of support. The crash led to a temporary closure of lanes in both directions on I-93 while authorities conducted an investigation. No charges have been filed at this time, and individuals with relevant information are encouraged to contact Sgt. Mark Dore at 603-223-4381.
