
Route 30 closed due to multiple-vehicle crash
A collision occurred on Route 30 in Lancaster County on Tuesday, resulting in several individuals sustaining injuries, as reported by the Mountville Fire Company. The incident involved a dump truck and two other vehicles in the eastbound lanes near the Centerville Road exit in East Hempfield Township around 7:50 a.m. Emergency responders found one person trapped inside a car lodged beneath the dump truck, but successfully rescued them. At least two individuals were taken to the hospital, though the severity of their injuries remains unclear. Following the accident, all eastbound lanes of Route 30 were shut down between the Mountville/Stoney Battery Road exit and the Route 741/Millersville/Rohrerstown exit, but have since reopened.
