Rollover accident shuts down eastbound Arapahoe Road in Aurora
Authorities responded to a rollover accident on Arapahoe Road in Aurora last Friday involving eight vehicles, temporarily closing the eastbound lanes. The incident, which took place at the intersection of Arapahoe Road and Parker Road, resulted in minor damage and fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. Traffic cameras from the Colorado Department of Transportation indicated lane closures and about a mile of delays following the crash. However, by 4:44 p.m., the roadway had been cleared and traffic resumed its normal flow. The Aurora Police Department stated that they did not suspect drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. Aerial footage from SkyFOX showed a tow truck removing the overturned vehicle from the scene, with a second tow truck also present.
