Rochester resident sent to hospital following race car accident
A Rochester man was hospitalized following a crash on Saturday evening at the Ontario County Fairgrounds and Racetrack in Canandaigua, New York. According to deputies from the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, 54-year-old Gillbert Tegg Jr. hit a protective barrier, leading to his vehicle overturning. Tegg had to be extricated from the vehicle and was then transported to Strong Memorial Hospital. Fortunately, no other individuals were harmed in the incident. The Canandaigua Fire Department and Canandaigua Emergency Squad also provided assistance at the scene.
