Roads near East Las Vegas closed due to deadly crash, pedestrian killed
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) reported a tragic incident where a pedestrian lost their life in a collision close to East Las Vegas on North Nellis Boulevard. According to officials, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road near a median. The pedestrian was rushed to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. The driver involved is not believed to have been impaired. LVMPD has announced that traffic will be restricted in the area while the incident is being investigated.
