Road reopens following severe accident, motorcyclist in critical state

As of 8:15 a.m. on July 20, 2025, Henry Clay Boulevard has been reopened since 2:40 a.m., according to the latest report from Onondaga County 911 dispatchers. In CLAY, N.Y., a serious accident occurred when a motorcyclist collided with a pick-up truck in front of a Byrne Dairy on Henry Clay Boulevard, as reported by the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department. The incident took place around 8:00 p.m. on the same day, causing the vehicles to catch fire upon impact. Emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene, and the intersection was temporarily closed for safety. Fortunately, the driver of the pick-up truck escaped unharmed, while the motorcyclist is currently in critical condition at the hospital, according to Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputy Doug Roser.
