Rescued Man after Alpine Rappelling Mishap

A man was rescued on Sunday after sustaining an injury while rappelling in the Three Falls region near Alpine. The Utah County Sheriff's Office reported that the 40-year-old man was part of a group when a stick lacerated his upper thigh. Utah County Search and Rescue, along with Lifeflight, promptly arrived at the scene and successfully evacuated him from the mountain. Subsequently, he was transferred to Lone Peak Fire, who then transported him to a local hospital for medical attention. The man's condition remains undisclosed at this time.
