Reopening of US-1 in Fort Pierce following fatal morning accident
All lanes of US-1 at Virginia Avenue in Fort Pierce have been reopened following a fatal accident earlier today. According to Fort Pierce Police, a truck struck a pedestrian in a wheelchair as they were crossing the street. Unfortunately, the pedestrian passed away after being transported to the hospital.
