Reflecting on their late father: ‘He was not someone we feared; we often engaged in disagreements’
Shortly after their father, CP Chacko, tragically passed away in a car accident, one of actor Shine Tom Chacko's sisters posted a touching message on social media in honor of his birthday. In a joint post with her siblings Shine, Joe, and Sumy, Riya Mary fondly remembered Chacko as their "guardian angel" who always strived to be the best father and person he could be. Sharing a photo of him on Instagram, Riya described Chacko as lively, approachable, and always there for his family through thick and thin. Despite his imperfections and errors, Riya highlighted his unwavering dedication to improving himself and being a strong father figure. She expressed gratitude for his unwavering support and love, calling him the strongest and most influential person they have ever known. The heartfelt tribute ended with a birthday wish to their beloved father. CP Chacko lost his life in a tragic road accident near Salem in Tamil Nadu while en route to Bengaluru for Shine Tom Chacko's medical treatment. He was laid to rest at the Mundur Parikarmala Matha Church cemetery the following Monday.
