RCSS issues statement following minor school bus incident on Peach Orchard Rd.
A school bus in Richmond County, Georgia was in a minor accident this week. The incident occurred on Peach Orchard Road after the bus driver stopped in a nearby lot to deal with a student issue. Fortunately, no students or the driver were harmed. The Richmond County School System has stated that student safety is their top priority and the situation is being managed by their police officials. Parents were promptly informed, and another bus was sent to finish the route. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office confirmed that no citations have been issued.
