Raleigh motorcyclist dies in Kernersville crash, police say
KERNERSVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — A man has died after a Sunday morning crash in the Piedmont Triad. According to Kernersville Police Department, just before 9 a.m. on Sunday, they responded to a crash on US-421 north near NC 74. Police say that Michael Anthony Gaither Jr, of Raleigh, was riding a Suzuki motorcycle when he rear-ended another vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle had only minor injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing. This was the first traffic fatality in Kernersville in 2025, according to police.
