Rajvir Jawanda, known for hit songs like ‘Kangni’ and ‘Surname’, passed away on October 8 at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where he had been receiving treatment for spinal and head injuries. His accident occurred when his vehicle collided with stray cattle in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. Despite immediate treatment upon arrival at the hospital, he remained in critical condition until his passing. The news of his death was confirmed by fellow Punjabi singer Jasbir Jassi. Rajvir Jawanda was not only a successful singer in the Punjabi music scene but also a well-known actor in hit Punjabi films like ‘Jind Jaan’ and ‘Mindo Taseeldarni’.
