
Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda dies from injuries after Himachal road crash
Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, who was critically injured in a road accident on September 27, has tragically passed away at the age of 35. Despite receiving extensive medical care, Jawanda succumbed to multiple organ failure on Wednesday morning at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. The accident took place in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district as he was traveling to Shimla on his motorcycle. Following his death, his body was transported to his residence in Sector 71, Mohali and will later be taken to Panchkula Civil Hospital for a postmortem examination. His cremation is scheduled to take place in his native village, Pona, near Jagraon in Ludhiana district on Thursday. Jawanda was known for his hit songs like "Tu dis penda", "Khush reha kar", "Sardari", "Surname", "Afreen", "Landlord", "Down to earth", and "Kangani". He also had acting credits in Punjabi movies such as "Subedar Joginder Singh" in 2018, "Jind Jaan" in 2019, and "Mindo Taseeldarni" in 2019.
